As a translator, writer, blogger, webrepreneur, and Internet addict, I (like you) am on the computer all day long, every day and into the night. Our lives are now completely dependent on gadgetry for work and play. I love technology because it is new, exciting, powerful, and usually shiny. For some reason however, technology is usually designed without how human bodies will really interact with it…that is, repetitively for long periods of time. Ergonomics is the study of work, which in this era means how humans interact with technology on a daily basis. This blog seeks to look at current developments in ergonomics and help raise awareness about the importance of listening to our bodies as we tap away on our computers, stare at our screens, and sit in our chairs.
