50th Annual Meeting of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society in San Francisco

I am lucky enough to live near San Francisco, so yesterday I just hopped on a train to check out the HFES conference going on this week at the Hilton in San Francisco. Workshops and lectures are being given on diverse ergonomics subjects such as computer use, workplace design, macroergonomics, product design, aging, usability, human performance modeling, and injury prevention. The conference also organized tours for participants to see a couple of Silicon Valley’s most famous workplaces, Google and Ebay.

I attended the exhibition where I was able to try out some new and exciting ergonomic products, which I will be reviewing in upcoming posts.
